How to get to Msida Skatepark?
Msida skatepark is situated at Tal-qroqq next to the University of Malta. The Skatepark is in an open underground space in a roundabout. This roundabout is called Msida Subway. We reckon its pretty hard to miss once around the area! Buses : From Valletta, take 41, 42 From Mellieha, st. Pauls bay, take 145 For other routes, its best to start from Valletta & ask for the "Msida Subway"

Rules of the Msida Skatepark 1. Please tidy after yourselves. Respect the park and respect the hard work that went into the place. This also means the pedestrian walk-ways & the greenery 2. You are skating/riding at your own risk and MSA nor the government are responsible for injuries. It is advised to wear a minimum of a helmet, especially kids under 13. 3. To the BMX riders, we unfortunately have to say that this is a "no peg" park. Skateparks thrive on the smoothest of surface and pegs do some considerable damage. This will also give riders a lot of grief which we're sure you don't want. 4. No skateboarding/riding on the pedestrian zones. The original purpose of the area is a subway system to get from one side to the other in safety. Do not get in pedestrians way or WE'LL ALL BE GETTING GRIEF. 5. No vandalism of any kind. 6. No drug usage

The Msida Subway roundabout has played the most important role in Skateboarding history in Malta. After 30 years of skateboarding existence on this island, its not until very recently(2008), a skateboard facility has been made. Looking at the "ditch-style" street course and the Tranny corner, we'd like to think that MSA & the government made up for lost time. Stop by, this is our over-sized obese baby. Oh yes, the Msida Skatepark is also lit up at night and no entrance charge. Power to the people.
